I'm going to have to batter you.
You very kindly sent me some Dahlia tubers that I'm afraid went in rather to late and I subsequently lost a few of them... still, the ones that I didn't manage to kill off began to flower a few weeks back; big glorious and blousey pink pom-poms!!!
Now, I'll be honest, I didn't think I was much of a fan of Dahlias but I have been quite taken with their audaciousness (is it a word? did I spell it correctly? who cares?). Anyway, today I went out and bought five more to fill out the small bed I had put them in and, whilst standing admiring them, I actually considered taking out some cabbage 'spares'in the adjacent bed to put more in!!!
