I'm currently enjoying the first decent crop from my Victoria plum tree (only ever had half a dozen fruit each season before now), and my first EVER crop of greengages from a tree that was planted over ten years ago! So, having made the usual jams, crumbles, etc., I'm now wanting a recipe for spiced pickled plums. The only ones I can find look as though they'll be quite sweet, so I wondered whether anyone had something that was salty and pickly as well as spicy and sweet? :)
