Title: Bin Men have taken the recycling AND the bin
Post by: mrs bouquet on March 04, 2024, 15:13
Now I have to buy a new one, but I am a bit puzzled because they nearly all state "X amount of litres"
How am I supposed to know what size that is ?   Mrs Bouquet

Have you checked with your council that this is not just them supplying you with a new bin.

Ours got replaced with smaller bins a year or so ago, but as the bin lorry came round emptying, another truck followed taking the bins. The new ones were delivered the next day.

They repeated this process all over town for both rubbish and recycling bins over a month or so.

Definitely get on to your council before spending any money!

Don't buy one yourself, Mrs B.  Ring them and say that they have removed your bin and will they be bringing another to replace it.  They should do, the council in my area will always replace damaged or inadvertently "removed" bins.

Perhaps it got damaged when they emptied it? This happened to us and they supplied a new one
