Plot rent increased
« on: August 23, 2019, 11:40 »
A letter arrived this morning saying plot rents have gone up by £2 a perch/rod, for next year, so guess everyone will be moaning for a few days, although I still think it's worth it.
Anyone else heard of increases?

Non planned other than probably water costs due to numpties using the hose the night before the monsoon comes!

No rent increase has been announced here so far, but I wouldn't complain if we did, our rent is pretty cheap here.

We had a bit of an increase again this year per plot, but as we opted not to have the portaloo the overall cost was down I think.

Mine (both for the plot and water) goes up every year without fail. A bit like Aidy it annoys me to see folk watering when rain is either imminent or just fallen and it really makes my blood boil when I call in latish on and someone (who I know will have left several hours earlier) has left a sprinkler going, or a hose on filling an overflowing water butt or duck pond, which would run all night if it wasn't for me turning off the tap........
