Compost Tumbler
« on: March 07, 2010, 12:18 »
Hi all  :)

hubby and i have been looking at some compost tumblers (the enviro-something one!) due to the size of our garden its really the best fit.

just wondering though, anyone else out there have one? do you have to fill it all the way up in one go? we arent sure we actually produce enough waste to do that!

thanks
 :)

Quite a few "tumblers" on "you tube" HERE   If your a little bit handy with the old DIY........save some money on a shop bought one! :)

I fill mine up as I get the waste, no good filling them right up, as then they don't tumble right, its good to have at least two bins
Baz.........
Mostly organic...

thanks baz

i dont think our DIY will quite scratch up to making one

so you fill ures up as you go? and then do you tumble after putting a bit in or just do nothing until its almost full?  :)
