It really is the only wheatfree bread worth bothering with so I'm very glad to recommend it, I know how happy I was to find it, it make the wheatfree diet easy to cope with. It was toast and sandwiches I missed most, even more than biscuits!

I don't think I am wheat intolerant as I can eat cakes (or rather I could before my diet  :() but bread always does cause me problems, perhaps I am a bit intolerant or maybe it's the yeast  :unsure:  however half way through this loaf and so far so good  :)

My local morrisons do a spelt and rye loaf................and i can eat a couple slices or so and not get any symptoms, well not so you'd notice, certainly not the same bloating , os have had some rather nice sarnies.................its a nice light, farmhouse type loaf, unlike my own spelt and rye whihc was like a house brick!!!

Still having the genius too............

I do a good line in bricks too :lol:

I've just made a sour dough loaf for OH, that is when I really have to tell myself it isn't worth the side effects, it smells wonderful and has a fab crust but I must resist

I had an email from Genius to let me know that now Starbucks are selling sandwiches made with their bread. I rarely eat out but sometimes it would really save the day to be able to grab a sandwich like "normal people" do instead of taking oatcakes in my bag.

now thats worth knowing - i dont eat out on the run too often but good to know i can grab a sarnie if need be

made some brownies with spelt flour - very yummy - a little wholemeal kind of texture but v good all the same
