IBC tanks.
« on: October 25, 2014, 08:16 »
I can get IBC tanks like these here for nothing as they are scrap.
Now I'm thinking that if I take them out of the metal frame, then measure down say 12" and cut around, I would get maybe 4 out of 1 tank.

Would they be any good to use as raised beds??? in this new polytunnel that I have to erect next week.... just a thought

This guy cuts them up

I think they're a bit collapsible without the framework.

I would (personally) A: have a couple for water storage and B: build an aquaponics system

Google IBC aquaponics
