leggy brassicas
« on: April 10, 2012, 18:06 »
did the same as I've done in the past three years. sowed brassicas in catlitter trays and in the cold frame.
this morning all the brassicas (sprouting and regular) are very leggy.  :(
have to sow them again tonight but any ideas why? they were in the same place as they were last year and the year before and the year before.
mind boggles sometime  :)
One kid is handful. Two kids.... Example for chaos theory. Hats off to my mum who managed three...

you may not need to sow some more - just plant them deep when potting them on. as for why they are only leggy this year - i havent got a clue, but what i do know is they always grow very fast for me - maybe this april is warmer than average(compared to last and the year before that).
