Preparing for the future
« on: November 17, 2018, 18:44 »
As most of my beds are ready for next year Today we had a trailer full of cow manure delivered to the allotment site, so I have been getting my manure sorted to put on my beds during November 2019 ready for spring 2020.
15 barrowfulls later after wheeling uphill my arms and legs felt like they were dropping off.😁😯

I may however go and get more seaweed tomorrow for my potato bed , possibly 4 or6 tubs full which equates to 8 or 12 bucketful.

With no dig system this is a busier time of year for me than the actual planting or growing season.👍

Aren't you a year ahead of yourself with those dates?  ;)

Surprisingly the dates are correct, this is my summary;
The beds are ready for next spring planting (2019) apart from the potato bed
So the manure I had yesterday will go on the beds November next year (2019) ready for spring 2020.
You may have gathered I like to be prepared for things 😂
