One or two of my Autumn Bliss raspberries are starting to flower already - this is not good news as I've always found summer raspberries mostly disappear into the beaks of (usually) sparrows, and how much fun is it trying to net and then pick the raspberries? :nowink:
Has anyone else found their Autumn rasps to be a little (::)) in front of themselves this year?

Mine are autumn and already cropping, had about a pound already. I dont net as touch wood we dont lose many but we do have four beds worth

Yes, my Autumn Bliss cropped whilst I was away and were lovely according to my friend who was watering up for me! Hoping I have a few from the new Polka that I put in this year as they do seem to be further behind. :)

flowers here as well, but they didn't get chopped to the ground, only to about 8 inches (my back was sore at the time). Lesson learnt :nowink:

Mine are all this year's new canes, and given the slow start in "spring" I'm surprised they're that much in front of themselves now (although according to BQ and AuntiMogs I should perhaps be grateful they aren't even earlier! ::))

Mine went just wild this year, not sure why as they got no loving over winter.
