I am seeing very good reports on using rabbit muck for your veg plants, i have never used it has any one else.
 Let me know how you got on with it, and did your plants like it?.Lillileaf.

I tend to use it in 3 ways.
I add it to my compost heaps when I turn them. During the summer I seap the rabbit pops in a butt of water for 4 weeks then dilute it 4 to 1 and use it as a liquid feed.This time of year I scatter them onto my beds before mulching.
We have an agreement with our bunny,  she gets surplus greens from the plot and in return she gives us loads of poos.

We get a dozen or so large compost sized bags of rabbit hutch waste every fortnight which after composting is used to top no dig beds. Been using it for about five years, all the plants seem to like it.

I started getting rabbit manure a couple of years ago from a rabbit breeder and it not only helps keep weeds at bay as I try to use no dig but the first year my pumpkins were like a jungle and had the best crop ever.

When we ran our small animal rescue a few years ago we would add rabbit poo to the compost heap , we moved away from using wood shavings in favour of a rape seed by product which composted down much better. Not heard about using rabbit poo as a mulch , interesting idea.

Mintyboy , how are you using the feed ?

I tend to ues it as a liquid boost to anything that looks a bit peaky. Although I usually dilute it 4 to 1, for anything fruiting like squash or tomatoes when they start flowering I give them a dose at 2 to 1. It's all very ad hock and not scientific in any way but it works for me.

I would compost poo and bedding first as you could get viable grass seeds in the hay.
