This egg is a real giant ...... it is shown with a mixture of duck and 'normal' hen eggs.
There seem to be no ill effects
-
whats its weight?
The most i have had so far is a 91 grammer! That looks like it would exceed 100g!
-
Biggest one I ever had was 125gms, but that is certainly a size! :)
-
wow Grannie, did the hen walk like a cowboy ::)
-
Just weighed it ...... it's a whopping 125g
We don't even know which hen is responsible; all skipping about as usual, mind you she'll probably resign for good after that.
-
Goodness! And ouch! ???
Keep the camera handy when you crack it open - it might be a double yolker or other such interesting egg. The biggest my pullets have laid so far is 80g and that seemed pretty big at the time. 125g is enormous!
-
ow ow ow ow ow
crack it open - see how many yolks!

I guess I'd look for the one with the eyes popping out - what a whopper!
-
O.H. used it and I didn't even see it! >:(
He said it was equivalent to two XXL eggs.
-
Wow!!
Ours are normally around 63 grams, our biggest so far was 90 grams which was a double yolker, and two days later we were an egg short, so I guess that was her recovery time!!
