hi guys,
at the moment i have 5 rescue warren battery hens in my back garden coop / penn, and also have 2 pekin bantam chicks that are nearly 3 weeks old indoors in my brood, ..... but i just wanted to know what is the best breed to go for next, that will get along with what ive already got , i really like silkies but im just unsure, suggestions pls as always

Silkies are very gentle birds that can be easily bullied and they may have a very rough time of it with battery hens who tend to be agressive because of the life they've led. If you do go for them, then a close eye will need to be kept out forbullying.
If you look on Omlet they have a very helpful section on the various breeds with reviews from people who keep them - I've always found it very helpful.
