building a new bantam home!!

And so the saga of my golden partridge bantams goes on!!!  One of my two girls was mated with "charlie" the cockerel and is laying eggs but not broody.  After finding broken hens eggs in my chuck house for 3 days running i caught her in the act yesterday! she has been smashing and eating the hens eggs but leaving the eggs she has laid alone! 

 Today i am going to build them a seperate house and run of their own, I value my hens eggs so much i don't want her smashing them all. 

Is she destroying the competition? or just bieng a Pitb? have brought them in the porch in a dog crate overnight and this morning are roaming around the garden!  Lets hope for a nice day so i can get the run and new house ready!
