Title: Minitaure duck breeds
Post by: Hayley'sHens on September 09, 2010, 10:44
I have a male call duck (Bob) and a pair of East Indie's, Hubby bought them as Cayuga's but they are Indies. Harvey and Bob have both started getting active with my female Indie. I cant get a female call becuase of the noise and the neighbours, I dont want another Indie. Any more suggestions as to what type of duck I can get thats of a similar size?

You don't want a mini duck - you want a Bumble baba - admit it  :tongue2:

Miniature Silver Appleyards would be lovely http://www.domestic-waterfowl.co.uk/page2.htm

I'd love a bumble baba Cara, But I havent got the room. I wouldnt be getting a Mini if the people who sold hubby the East Indies knew what they were selling. They were sold as caygua  >:(

I love my full size Appleyard and I know Kate loves her one as well so I think a miniature one would be perfect for you. Not too noisy and a lovely personality  :)
