PH and moisture meter
« on: June 07, 2020, 16:07 »
Bought one of these from Wilco earlier this year before the shut down , paid a fiver for it. Using it to 'test' the water content of potatoes growing in bags and tomatoes that are in the ' Morrisons '  cut flower pots.
Does anyone else use one ?   , are they worth bothering with ?

Have seen the same thing on amazon for similar price.
we also rescue rabbits and guinea pigs, grow own veg

Never used one; I've only heard of people using them for pH readings - which can tend to be a bit unreliable unless you are a fair distance down (9" ??) - and I think the moisture element is as much to check that there's enough moisture for a pH reading to be done rather than anything else.  But others who have experience of these gadgets will be able to comment further, I'm sure.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
