I have some steel Tube 1.5 dia and im not quite sure what to look for on the conection departmen. i have tried a few ideas in Google but nothing yet.

Usually steel tube is threaded or you use a threader to put your own thread on.  So you would need a steel socket probably 1/2" as threaded fittings haven't gone metric.  Or female elbows etc.  If its not threaded then I don't know i'm sorry

you could get some tube of a slightly small dia to slot into the tube you have and join that way

*Might* even find what you want in compression fittings in your local plumbers merchants.

Depends on how/what loads you need the joint to take.

May I ask 1.5 what? Inches, feet, yards, chains, furlongs maybe?

Oh sorry its 1.5 inch dia.  i was thinking of maybe a bean frame, carrot cage and some fencing post. i have enough to do all three i would think

That's what I like, good old fashioned imperial inches....
You could use those compression water pipe joiners- but that might work out a bit expensive. I think I'd go for a presserved dowel inserted  in the end, then just slide another tube on as well. I think I'd drill a couple of holes to put in a screw to make sure it won't come apart

I can knock up some inserts on the pole lathe this weekend while at work . i think for corners i might have found some Keyklamps which might do the job.
