Even 'darn souf' we have warnings for the white stuff from Saturday evening

Ah but we need a rowing boat up here to go out. The local flood watch group is measuring some interesting puddles as well as rivers and streams.

At least we are protected here by the sea all around which raises our temperature, but if it does snow the whole Island grinds to a halt as we don't know what to do.  It never does enough to make it 'look pretty' just make it look dirty.

No snow forecast for us currently, but I'll be bringing my onion seedlings in overnight for all of next week.

I believe that the dire weather forecasts are just here in the east to make sure I can't go gardening until my repaired knee is better.

Sometimes the snow misses the coast, but we may get some here on top of the South Downs.   When it does, it really does, so nobody goes anywhere.  lets hope it is not too severe.    Us folks down south aren;t used to it. But my Land Rover copes, I don't. !!!  Mrs Bouquet
