depigmentation is simply possible because pigs originally were not pink but 'multicouloured' I don't know of any english breeds, but old breeds are for example the Angler Sattelschwein

Well, I do not keep chickens, so don't like to chip in, but I do not think the man is mixing things up, as I know it was used not just in the garden and for infections as Aunty says, but also in pig and chicken feed. And my grannnie wasn't on the pints.

I do not know what it does or doesn't, but the amounts are very little and should know well, how much if it was worth it at all.

well  i have spoken to the chap again that told me about it origionally and he stands by the putting it into their feed to help build em up, he hadnt had a pint this time and was very positive about what he was saying, so i guess it was somthing that used to happen years back, but i dont think ill try it as i love my  sheila, shirley and the girls too much!
