Title: Onion sets

Post by: Ivor Backache on March 09, 2013, 19:02: You can do either. Mine are in trays only because the ground is still so cold. My shallots are still in trays but they have rooted. I prefer trays so that you can spot the duds and when they have roots the birds cannot pull them out of the ground so easily.
