Shortened name for Wilkinsons, they have shops all over. There are lots in and around Manchester as well as being able to buy online  :D

I have to restrict my trips to Wilkos as I always end up buying loads .
This year I have bought all our potatoes and onions from them and a lot of my seeds at a fraction of the cost of the big companies. Also bought nearly all my flowers as plug plants from them. Oh, and while I'm there I can pick up all our toiletries as well.  :D

Im a wilkos addict, I get all my seeds and gardening stuff from there (apart from the seeds that DD sends me  :D ) I never go clothes shopping, only shop for anything when I HAVE to, but every Thursday afternoon Im in Wilkos..doesnt take much to please me!

I have a similar problem with Torne Valley a farm shop who sell everything in Bakewell. Most lunch times I need something!!! So just have to pop down for some food for the chickens, light bulbs, more seeds, feed, grass seed, chain saw oil, you name it, the lads I work with think I have an account there.......Wilkos are good for price not always super a1 quality, but I guess you get what you pay for...... 8)

I work in Bakewell Mark - is the farm shop the one near the co-op?

Matron, the farm shop is Torne Valley next to the garage on the A6, huge place that sells everthing from fencing to all the chicken gear. Its a bit pricey but this is Bakewell and everything is pricey, you dont have to drive to the nearest big town anyway to get stuff. There is a cheaper place up at Brough going up towards Hope but that is a fair drive.
Where is your work? 8)
