Gooseberries
« on: June 09, 2010, 16:41 »
I have tons of new growth on my gooseberry bushes and I'm just wondering if it will be okay to take cuttings now, with soft growth, or should I wait for the growth to become a little more woody? Many thanks
...the night was dark...they usually are!

Woody growth. October time is ideal.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Or heel in a branch in a pot of compost and let it take root then snip at the back end.
