just a quick question....

Do you use a branded tomato feed or is a £1 Wilko tomato feed just as good?

It will probably be just as good. I buy a lot of things from Wilko and it amazes me how much cheaper they are than a garden centre for instance. I have bought some of this fertilizer to try it.

There are three signs of old age. The first is your loss of memory, the other two I forget.

Too Right :!:

Wilkos rocks.

If you look at the N P K content and compare it to the other rip off varieties you'll see it has exactly the same content.

Therefore it's exactly the same product and will do exactly the same.

It makes me laugh to see people buying Tamorite over wilkos feed when it is the same stuff but twice the price. :D

how do vegetarians feed their plants?
I got an allotment partly because I'm vegetarian and I want to know what I'm eating.
What do the veggies use as alternatives to blood, fish and bonemeal that you're supposed to enrich the soil and feed your plants with?
And does this mean that all the veg I've been eating all these years isn't in fact vegetarian?

I understand that comfrey makes an excellent tomato feed.  It can be found on some allotments but I bought some from a well-known internet auction site, not knowing my plants quite as well I hope to!  I'd probably look around a little closer now, though.
