Hi all,

Complete newbie here - to both the forum and plot holding!

I have a question, regarding strawberries.

I impulse purchased 12 Strawberry plants from Sutton’s, and I excitedly took delivery of these today.

My question is; what am I best doing with them at this time of year?

I’m not expecting them to beat fruit as it’s nearing the end of the season; should I continue to plant in a planter or just keep stored in the greenhouse?

Looking forward to your advice :)

Hi and welcome to the forum. If you have a place to plant them outside or in planters they should be ok as they'll have time to settle in before winter. Just sprinkle a little bit of blood, fish and bone around before you put them in. They're quite hardy plants so don't need a g-house as protection.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.
