ok now im looking for some dried pasta , its long and flat and has a wavey edges i dont know the name and ive been in all the shops looking for it for months and its just vanished there is also a lasagnia sheet also with the wavey edges but its the narrow one im after .

Do you mean fettuccine?

The only curly ribbons I can find are Mafaldine aka Reginette but you rarely see these for sale in the UK  :unsure:

mafalde is a ribbon pasta with wavy edges and sometimes pappardelle has wavy edges.
Staffies are softer than you think.

i think it was called peppendelle, but just carnt find it anywhere .

I think it may only be the fresh pappardelle that have the wavy edge.

I bought some papperdelle thinking it would be a 'change' from the usual  tagliatelli we have.  Paul has  very large hands and as always cooked far more than the two of us could eat.  As usual we put the excess out for the birds but they were not interested and it took about four days before it was eaten!

i do the same cook abit extra but pop it in a bag and freeze it allways comes in handy when hubby need s some for his bate  saves cooking just a small ammount
