having drunk the 40 pts that we made in february (didnt need CO2 for some reason!) have just made another 40 pts,  this is fun! :lol:

It is innit?  Glad you suceeded.  Not much can go wrong as long as you use common sense and keep everything clean and sterilised.  I put a 40 pint of bitter kit on last week now the warm weather has arrived.  I've had the kit since Christmas (off my son) but never got round to it.  Being at work every day, the flat tends to get chilly during the day, only warming up when I get home, which as I'm self-employed can be as late as 8 or 9pm.  Not that it wouldn't have worked, but it would tend to be slower in Winter or cold Spring.  Besides, who wants to drink cold beer in Winter in Lancs?

It's smelling lovely now though and may well be ready for the pressure keg this weekend.  Good that you didn't need the CO2 as well.  You must have drunk it quickly is all I can think.   :D

we are going to be patient this time :drunken:  :oops:  we are aiming for the end of july when we are on holiday, we should be kept busy over the allotment til then anyway  8)

You shouldn't make promises you can't keep.   :D

Do you like stout?  That's a nice brew to make if you do.

we have drunk stout before but purely for medicinal reasons :bounce: my OH likes draught guiness are there any kits for that? :roll:

I don't think you'd specifically get Guiness as it's a brand name and I'm sure the Guiness company wouldn't want anyone making their own.  But you can get kits for stout.  All the Guiness we drink anyway isn't the real stuff so I've always been told.  You have to go to Ireland for that.

2nd brew kegged and in an old wardrobe in the spare room .... :thumright:   :thumleft:  roll on end of july!!!:sunny:
might try a stout brew for the winter
