my beans are in flower??


been told to putt them up and re-sow  does that sound right?
2 allotments, long standing back problem, am i mad?

Leave them in, i've seen a few bee's knocking about. Hopefully your flowers will get pollinated. You could always plant some more as well, for a later crop of  broad beans if you fancied.

Yeah leave 'em should be OK might ony be a small crop but you should get something .

Either start some more inside in pots or sow some more direct now to follow on for later

Just out of intrest when did you sow them?

The thing is, AFAIK, winter ones will be more or less self-pollinating, but the very early flowers can be lost to cold weather, definitely re-sow, keep these, they can recover even if damaged, but only worth it, if you have the space for two lots.
