My Belle Blue is 5+ years old, has  not layed an egg for over a year and had been a very healthy hen until now.  She has a bloated abdomen, any help would be so very gratefully accepted.

Kind of you to reply, however non of the old posts apply.  She definitely has a bloated abdomen, it is not sour crop which I have encountered and treated before (with some success luckily).  Her abdomen is very bloated and she feels exceedingly and unnaturally heavy.  Looks like a trip to the vet, unless someone has a bright idea!?

I've had a couple of oldys get it - not much can be done for it  I'm afraid
