underplanting under runner beans
« on: January 19, 2014, 21:37 »
I have a 3 x 2m bed under the munty frame. Can I use this area for strawberries? I will have a dedicated salad bed this year and don't need the space for that.

Thanks

Yes, but be careful to leave space for your feet for picking the beans  :nowink:

Thanks mum,
I was thinking of leaving a scaffold plank down as a walkway and 2 rows of strawberries either side
