oh im no expert, although lots on here are, its fabulous, but are they mildewy, too much water, not enough light?

Thy are courgettes, I grow most thro to marrows, I am tight for room in this bed, you think its over watering and been to close together.

mmm too much watering i think, mine are close together cos they do grow big and the stems and leaves just take over (like triffids!!)
im sure someone on this forum will know more than me cos its our 1st year of growing! good luck

The whitened leaves look as though they've been chewed by something rather than mildew to me.  Any chance of a closeup or one of the affected leaves, top surface and underside please Mic ?

Could be the same problem as me, blackfly. If it is you'll be best getting some fairly liquid diluted in water and spraying all the undersides of the leaves. The really badly affected ones I suggest you should cut off.

I've no idea what it is, never seen it before, but I've amended the title of the thread to reflect your question, hopefully it'll attract a few more takers.

Nasty.

It's either had all the underside of the leaf chewed or sucked away by small insects just leaving the veins or it's the worst case of intervein chlorosis I've ever seen  :shock:

I'd just remove those leaves and leave the good ones.  They look fine !
