« on: September 24, 2023, 14:34 »
Good afternoon everybody.
the title says it all...Leek leaves are long and have a tendence to flop over.  Anyone know a preventer or a cure?

Cheers.  Tony.
I may be growing OLD, but I refuse to grow UP !

I've read that if they're trimmed when planting out it prevents them growing too long!

My leeks were really long and flopped onto the floor…but then we had lots of rain and they stood up 👍 …

Good morning AndyRVTR,  diddit!  I always trim the leaves by 1/3rd and the roots by half.

Ditto brownp,  we'll have to see on Thursday!

Cheers,  Tony
