Flymo DM - drive chain slipping
« on: May 28, 2012, 11:50 »
Hello All,

Is there any adjustment for the drive chain as it's slipping? There is a bolt half way along the casing, is this a concentric adjustment?

Thanks

Jonny

PS alternatively, does anyone have a clapped out DM for spares?

Could be a slipper inside the casing pressing on the chain to adjust the tension.  The only answer is carefully dismantling as far as to see inside.   :) (The Triumph Bonnie has the same arrangement on the primary chain)! ! !

Cheers.      Tony.
