Has Spring Sprung?
« on: March 04, 2010, 17:45 »
It might be a bit early to tell, but we have had dry weather for a week now, and it's forecast for at least another 10 days.  Woo-Hoo !!!!

I'm not getting carried away though.  There is no chance I am going to risk direct planting yet.  I might consider whacking in my onion sets in a fortnight if this weather continues.

Am intending to have a digging party this weekend to make the most of it.  Just bring a garden fork and I'll supply burgers and beer as the sun starts to go down.   8)

An old saying "Never cast a clout until May's out". ::)  I've seen snow in June before now, so watch it. ;)
