Smoked haddock and mash, carrots left over from the over night.  Found some salmon fillets reduced today which I had planned for one of the days over 'that period'.  Also got the smoked salmon for breakfast crossed off the list, and stashed in the freezer.  Shame they never reduce the fizz! :D

Something with chicken drumsticks as I got a large tray of them yesterday, looking through some cookery books & I saw a chicken thigh biryani & I fancied rice so I’ll report back

Yep chicken biryani it was & it was ok, but I’d roast the chicken up a bit first if I do it again. I only put in 2tsp of curry powder as hubby isn’t keen on curry anymore, but it could have taken more, the recipe said 5tsps. But it makes me cross when he just pokes the food round his plate!
I did puppodoms to start with plain yogurt & chilli sauce for me, mango chutney & tomato & red onion salsa with coriander picked this afternoon from the tunnel, Red chill in mine & none for him

I have a yearning for something spicy, so 'Hot & Spicy' bread-crumbed chicken strips
No motivation today, so it's chicken leftovers with spicy veg microwave rice. :D  With a few salad bits on the side to make it a tad healthier

Fish pie with lots of veg on the side
Scub that the fish pie mix turned out to be 2 pieces of salmon
So baked salmon with tomato halves & roasted peppers, mash, peas, carrots, cauliflower & broccoli with parsley sauce.
:)

This morning I got out a pork loin steak, to defrost. A trip to the plot yielded a tub of Pink Fir Apple potatoes, I thought they were Cara, but they had no label  ::) Use error!!!!
Also found some Autumn Calabrese that had managed to live through  the drought.
So that's what is going on the plate, with some peas from the freezer and gravy, of course  :)

Was going to be roast     pork, potatoes and assorted veg BUT we have been having a problem with water on the kitchen floor all week and couldn't work out where it came from, went in the cupboard under the sink and found that was all wet as well.  Emptied it and found the trap joints are loose and when we ran some water to see where the leak was found it was the waste.  Paul tapped it and it sprang out.  Fortunately we have all parts in stock at the shop so tomorrow evening will be a repair.  Decided we can't have a dinner that makes so much washing up, so cooked the pork (eating the crackling while it was hot), so now it's cold  pork, pickles and chips.
