been blackberry picking got 2 ice cream tubs full, ready for freezer.  :D
Is it me or are they very early this year?
For tea, I have some left over chicken drumsticks, thinking of cooking spicy veggie rice to go with them, plus a fridge-gravel salad. I need to buy some more now, really  :D
I picked loads of beautiful blackberries last week from the back of my plot.  Like you, I'm sure they're earlier than usual, but the quality is great.  In the freezer ready to mix with the apples from the Bramley tree to make blackberry and apple crumbles.
So do i, yes they are early my new freezer will be filled with fruit  :D

Well ftf I’ve taken out roast beef & a tub of beef stock, but it’s too hot now for a hotpot. I fancy seeing if I can make a stroganoff from it  ???

Yes I can  was quite good I adapted a Pinch on Nom recipe, served with fresh pasta & french beans

Weather (and tiny spud peeling energy) dependent,  either chilli in the slow cooker or cottage pie, cabbage and spoonstanding.

Finally had some spuds bigger than an egg delivered. Nuked one and finished off the rest of the mince with beans and cheese.

Something refer to as a coronation chicken flattie probably some sort of spicy veggie rice with it.  I'm not entirely sure a veggie standard serving will sit well with it but I'm starting to feel guilty about not eating anything green.

I've got allotment squash and sweetcorn, just have to delve in the freezer, to see what I can have with those. It's crammed at the mo, so plenty to choose from

I keep buying those mixed offer deals at work (all these for £5 type things), but we’ve eaten all the stuff I actually wanted, so tonight was a use up the leftovers to clear freezer space project.

Chicken grill steaks, Alphabites and mixed veg were duly served.  OH looked a bit quizzical but I pretended I didn’t know what he was on about and he ate it.  There was Viennetta for pud and that cheered him up no end

Change of plan last night as I developed a serious case of the CBA's and ended up nuking another one of those veggie casserole with dumplings.  I now have chicken and pizza with the use by date of today, chicken tonight and pizza tomorrow I think.
