I'm having a pork chop a la George Forman with the last of the peas, plus runner beans and baby new potatoes.

Roast shoulder of lamb, freshly harvested Charlotte potatoes, roasted courgettes & peppers, carrots & yellow & green French beans, cabbage, gravy & mint & gooseberry jelly. Only the peppers out of the veg were bought

Back to pasta as the carb tonight, it's about now I'm regretting not bothering growing any toms or peppers this year as some sort of tomato based sauce will have to go with it.

More of the lamb some way or other, I did cook the remains on the bone for 2 hours on low in the slow cooker after dinner last night as it wasn’t the most tender piece. Might be a hot pot tonight as it was a tad chilly first thing but it has warmed up so dunno really

I've put the slow cooker on with more stuff for Bombay spuds as I still have really bad curry munchies 

edit : Pleasantly surprised.    I don't think I've ever said anything nice about a packet mix before, but that "Schwartz Bombay Potatoes" mix isn't actually too bad (needs a bit more heat but then everything does).  Worth keeping in the store cupboard to quieten down the curry monster when doing things properly is just too much effort.

Duck breasts in plum sauce from M&S, bought it on holiday, but when struck down with covid neither of us fancied it so brought it home & stuck it in the freezer. Baby roastie potatoes ala lyonnaise, freshly harvested carrots,green & yellow french beans & for me cabbage.
