Tonight will be the sliced roast beef ftf that was supposed to be Fridays meal, with the usual suspects I assume lol

Well that didn’t go to plan  I opened the 2 pots of what I believed to be sliced beef in gravy & it was just gravy, so we had cold roast chicken from yesterday & took the mustard & horserubbish off the table

Jacket potatoes, roasted carrots, pork loin steaks and a load of spring greens from the plot with butter and pepper stirred in at the end.

The spring greens were the best bit.  I bought in plug plants as mine from seed were a miserable failure and they are worth the investment.  So tasty compared to anything you can buy  :D

More cottage pie and chunky mixed veg.
Not sure what was wrong with the mash though, for want of a better term is was "greasy". Checking the bag of generic white potatoes I bought, they appear to spectre which are a new variety to me, hope they're not all like that.

I've some mince left too. In the absence of anything veggie from the garden I think mines going to be turned into a chilli. I'll bulk it out a bit with some beans and put it with some plain rice I think.

A scotch egg leftover from the weekend family visit, plus any bits of fridge salad. Oh, and a left over wholemeal roll with it.   Delightful !

There's leftover chilli although not a lot. I'm considering wedges  but as it's pretty wet I may have to do rice again.
