Cue cutting open the avocado and it's black,
That normally happens to me with the last onion in the house half way into cooking something  Have you checked your fridge is working ok.

Some sort of spicy rice to use up the leftovers, freezer surprise on the meat front.

Some sort of spicy rice
which is what I have, and roast veg, left over from yesterday. I'm going to add a small can of chickpeas and stir some curry sauce through the lot, with a few bits of salad from the fridge, the jobs a good'un  :D

… and I am copying you.  Leftover roast veg, some chicken and assorted fridge gravel with Chinese style curry sauce and some plain rice

errrrmmm - dunno, I came here looking for inspiration.  ::)  Wedges are a possibility I suppose it's Friday after all. I've not had beans for a while and there's some shrooms but I think I'll struggle for something to put with them - deep dive in the freezer needed.

It's Friday so fish, so smoked haddock mornay, new potatoes and green beans.  We wanted a chowder but the recipe I found needed ingredients we don't have to hand.

I got waylaid by the reduced to clear freezer at work again.  Well actually frantically beckoned over by a friend at work who was putting the stuff out

A whole deboned duck rolled around stuffing for £3

Yup, I bought it, so that is for tea and with plot spuds and squash to go with it.  Just got to find something green to go on the plate now  :)

Found a frozen chicken madras whilst diving in the freezer yesterday, zero effort required, good job too as that's exactly how much I have  :nowink:

CBA fairy parked here, I can't even think what I'd like  ::)
I have some of those 'chuck in the oven baguettes' so might do just that and have cheese and onion in it  ::)
Boring, I know.....
