Yes.  It's been compulsory viewing  in our house for as long as I can remembrr. NOT anymore!  A disaster, we watched  it on Friday but in all honesty would have enjoyed a visit to the dentists more.

Not sure who BBC are aiming it at but it's not me.

Yup - the bright young people at the Beeb have obviously got round a table and decided the show was in urgent need of '*reformulating' to appeal to a younger target audience.

(*aka 'dumbing down.' )

Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

Which in itself is pretty stupid as it's been shown time and again that young people don't engage with 'traditional' tv content any more.

and that's why I won't be watching it any more (I'm guessing that a lot of other regular viewers will feel the same  ::) )

They don't really need to try at the beeb any more, all they do is just kick out the faves, bring in 'new' names, and plod on.

It's what happens with a TV taxed crowd I'm afraid, there's no commercial responsibilty, even for a week's pension a year for some people!

Sorry, meant to add that the kids today don't even pay the TV tax, their parents do...

Neither of us are sports watchers but always watched this especially for 'Tuffers' and the rapport between him and Matt Dawson.  We watched it last week, will give it one more go and then 'bye bye'.

Not sure which age group it's now aimed at but son, 40 and step grandson, 22, both previous fans described it in very unflattering language that I won't be repeating here.

Only connect is a more than adequate, if totally mind blowing, replacement

Why Sue Barker was replaced is puzzling on it's own , I thought she was excellent.  Four  names that come to mind Gabby Logan , Claire Balding ,  Dan Walker and Mark Chapman all with sports broadcasting pedigree.
As much as I like Paddy they should leave him to present Top Gear.

This weekend I shall attempt to contact the BBC to give my thoughts , assuming it hasn't crashed :( :(
