. . . is that it's completely taken my mind off of whatever I've injured in my shoulder!   :D

Shoulder or knee, no time to complain, it's time to just crack on.  No doctor visit either, there is not enough money in the world to get me into a USA emergency room right now.  I think both things will heal with "Dr. Time".

Thanks Mum (no worries though).   :)

"Mrs. Subversive" and I have a chuckle at least once a week about our various aches and pains. If I have one part that is on the mend, then she has something else that has "gone out".  Or vice-versa!

It's all part of life, isn't it?

Poor you!

It's odd that one usually adapts one's work to deal with whatever bit isn't working properly!

Our 'saying' is "Just get on with it"!

Usually works, despite the odd whimper...

Too many aches and pains to count these days, but as Growster says "I just get on with it".    Nobody else here to do it  ::)      But get better soon, those jobs will be piling up  :D  Mrs Bouquet

Know what you mean there. My back isn't the best part of me by a long chalk and I try to ease into any jobs that involve bending halfway down and a recent bit of sciatica isn't helping either, but one has to just do the best and not push things too much. I find a couple of painkillers and an afternoon's nap helps.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

Have managed to hurt my shoulder which has taken my mind away from my dodgy hip.

Not sure that being over 21(by a long way) is all it's cracked up to be

The worst thing about summer is that when I walk down our drive in sandals, I always get the sharpest bit of grit just inside my big toe, and the shriek can be heard for miles around - even the Anglo-Saxon expletive hurts...

That must beat a broken knee, or a sprained pelvis!

My knee is better except for a twinge now and then. My steps tracker says I walked more than 10.5 kilometers today between an exercise walk, cutting the grass, and other tasks.

Shoulder is better but still a bother. That might be because no matter how I lay down at night, I find that I wake up on that shoulder in the morning.  It also might have to do with lifting the push mower into the bed of my truck today so I could work on repairs.

Shoulder now ok. The powers that be have decided I need a hip replacement.

That'll be you on the list, even if it's a long one! Good luck.

Mumofstig , depending on the time scale it looks as if the new kitchen will go on hold and we will pay.  It's a choice of sleep and comfort and smart kitchen and I know which I would prefer.

I think they're getting well into the list now, Gracie's, a good chum was told it would be several months and she got an appointment fixed for this week, since late spring that is...
