some very sad news
« on: May 11, 2021, 21:51 »
We had a bit of a thunderstorm this afternoon, sadly a nine year old lad was struck by lightning while football training and has since passed away!
So sad.

Saw this earlier.  Stopped me in my tracks.  Ghastly for all concerned.

We got dragged up to Isleworth by my ex-husband so he could play in a cricket match, quite a few years ago now.  The next weekend another team played there and a player was killed by a lightening strike during their game.  It shook my ex up.

It was on the news tonight - poor boy, can't imagine what his parents are feeling. Terrible. How fragile a thing life is.

What a terrible loss. His family and friends must be devastated.

Very sad indeed, on a positive note, his Dad has said Jordan was an organ donor and has helped saved three lives!
