Hello has anyone else seen the banned strimmer heads on the Stihl web site, ones five hook tines off a stump grinder fastened to a disc for stump gringing with a brush cutter, the other is 4 chains fixed to a Stihl polycut head to make a flail head, both are lethal and needed banning   jezza

Do you mean this one jezza?

https://www.predator-mfg.com/product-page/st-661-chainsaw-attachment

OH has a real stump grinding machine that is tracked and driven by remote control so you can stay at a safe distance.  He couldn't believe people were going to tackle tree stumps with this piece of kit.  Might be Ok for really small stuff, but pointless for anything of a decent size.

Americans are certainly NOT all blithering idiots. Such sweeping statements are always inaccurate.  We have many forum friends over the pond who’s contributions are very valued and sensible.

Please keep this in mind and post a little more sensibly, jezza.

Actually, several of the bits are from other countries, I certainly didn't recognise a lot of the languages.

I do think, however, that had I tried one or two of the 'systems', much of my language would have been Anglo Saxon - before I passed out...
