17c pouring with rain, and hairdressers for the first time in 18 months    breeze from SSW.

I was right, several rumbles last night and a lovely lightning display over Sandown Bay.  Heavy rain overnight with showers today.  The stream at Mortonbrook has overflowed so everybody has been diverted through Yaverland which made an interesting journey home.

We had a good downpour at lunchtime, then 4 pm another with rumbles of thunder & then drizzle at 7pm, still damp now but warm, although considerably cooler than the last few days

A cool start, around 15ºC. Very cloudy and it feels like the oft promised downpour is coming later. We had a few drops in the night, judging by the very wet cat that appeared

Some rain overnight - enough to make the pavement wet but that's about it. Cooler but no fresher this morning. It's grey with low cloud again.

The promised thunder apocalypse has been delayed due to leaves on the line and is now due at 2pm

We have had a decent amount of rain so far today.

It was showers earlier although they were pretty heavy when they came. There have been longer spells of rain pretty much since about 11.00am.  The sky has lightened a bit now, but there are rain clouds with only little bits of blue in between.

Same here, but it is now very windy as well, gusting at 35mph

A few good sharp showers yesterday along with an thunderstorm which was more mouth than trousers but it has freshened things up today and there's a stiff breeze keeping things moving, much nicer.

Much cooler at 16ºC with a breeze under cloudy grey sky. Not much rain over the last days, but enough to hold things.
