Lovely start here - about 18ºC a little while ago when I opened the polytunnel up and let the chickens into the main run.

Bright and sunny so far and warmed up quickly this morning - fresher first thing only 9c walking the dog and there's a stiff breeze taking the edge off the heat nicely.

Quite warm but grey with drizzle, rain, drizzle, rain (repeat a lot)

Oh well - keeps the tourists away! (In case the roadworks fail)

I sure do hope we get some rain at least, I'm fed up with using the watering can, the far end of my plot is a long way from the stand-pipe

Well it's clouded over now, so I'm hopeful

It clouded over and we thought 'here we go'.  Two minutes of rain and back to sunshine.   We are however going to move the beans and other 'babies' from the outside window ledge to a sheltered position 'just in case' .

It's quite hypnotising watching the lightning strikes in nearly real time.

Gentle steady rain started here about 15 minutes ago and is still falling.  I think the light show and thunderclaps are predicted for later on.

You've got rain but no thunder and lightning - it's the other way rounds here, what my Mum used to call a 'dry storm' - it's terribly humid, and not good for sleeping unless the storm finally breaks...

Started raining about 9 last night and has carried on bucketing down all night.  Not a huge amount of thunder and lightening, still raining hard.  I can almost sees the grass growing.

It finally started raining sometime during the night, everything is sodden now
Just what the garden needed, but the wrong time for the climbing roses, around the door - there are now petals all over the foot path
