We used up the rest of the salad ingredients from  that day  last year and had a large prawn cocktail type dinner with new potatoes. That's the last of that time of year food eaten, thank goodness.  I'd           like a curry tomorrow but apparently there's ravioli that needs eating.

We were going to have a roast dinner, but the meat is still frozen.  That will have to be lunch tomorrow

Now going for toad-in-the-hole as what I really craved was cabbage and gravy and they both go with that  ;)

Found two chinese takeaway pots with 'leftovers' in, ratatouille and a    pasta with basil, combined the two, grated a load of cheese on the top and served with garlic bread. Why do 'bodged' meals taste better than ones that are 'proper'?

Nothing for tea today.  Treated myself to a roast beef lunch from a local bistro.  Amazing slow cooked beef, large Yorkshire pud, multiple roasties, lots of side veg, and lashings of rich gravy.  Oh yes.  :D
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Yesterday was cheeseburger quiche(New PON book) was ok not like some rave about it on pon website but I suppose it’s what you are used to, jacket potato & salad for me & b.beans for him. Fresh pineapple & pl yogurt
Tonight it’s using up some of the turkey ftf from the other night, hubby did the packs for the freezer & there’s not enough in 1 pack for 2 of us but too much in 2, so half from Saturdays defrosting + another pack for a stew or hotpot.

Pie  :D

I have bought puff pastry and just made a filling out of leftover roast pork loin joint I found in the freezer, plus veg I have cooked down together and a sauce to bind it into a mix. Will find something green to go on the side  :)
