A neighbour across the way told me mid February, that she was off To Australia to visit Daughter, S-in-l, kiddies etc    She has M.S. and is a bit younger than me, and as she went back to her house, I felt I was frowning and left feeling puzzled.  I felt like saying, do you think this is a wise thing to do just now, Coronavirus in China etc.    But I kept quite and simply said enjoy.   To date she is not back yet.   Apparently when the panic flights began she was offered one which was not direct, she didn't want to go.
Yesterday,  thinking about her empty house, and not having heard very much about Australia/New Zealand on the news or papers etc.  I looked it up.    It was very varied in its reports.     So I wonder do you have Rellies or other contacts down under.    Perhaps you know what it is like there.      Mrs Bouquet

Niece lives in Sydney but cannot change her visa because as she needs to leave for 3 days she will not be allowed back in. She is a paramedic, but is doing that privately for an event company, her OH is also a paramedic but Australian.
Social distancing like here, but will get more info. Where did your friend go?
