Thank you all for your lovely birthday wishes. I am 70 today, so I guess I am now officially an "old dear", although most of me still feels about thirty, except for my legs and feet which feel about ninety most days. Unfortunately, all of me looks about 70

Had a day off from the allotment today, and we've just had a visit from my daughter-in-law and our granddaughter, so I've just spent a happy hour or two watering her little garden with her "very own" watering can, being fed load of birthday cake and chocolates to the point of feeling a bit queasy, playing with the play-doh and making animal masks. The birthday candle has been lit and blown out so many times it has almost melted totally, and I can't tell you how many times she has sung "Happy Birthday" to me. I have even been allowed to "feel my wobbly tooth, Nanny". She is really excited at the prospect of a visit from the tooth fairy.
I feel very fortunate to have such a lovely family, they have quite made my day.
