Have you seen the £100 ad, where the little boy goes to work in the family hardware store - so clever.
Waitrose/John Lewis have spent millions on adverts this Christmas.  Frankly, they do not interest me or encourage me to change my shopping routines.    But I did see the old Coca Cola advert the other day, with all the lorries driving down the road, and Santa waving on the back of the last one.   Possibly a favourite.

What is or has been your favourite  ?    (or is that when you rush outside to make  cuppa, go to the loo, whatever !)    Mrs Bouquet

It's grand having no telly and an adblocker on the internet. Saves you an awful lot of temptation.

I don't watch a great deal of live tv anymore, but the one that stuck out in recent years to me was the one with the dog on the trampoline, not going to lie that had me and the sprog in stitches

I tend to go either to the toilet or get a drink when the adverts come on because we seem to get the same advert time and time again but I have to say I do like the Aldi add Kevin the carrot and the voiceover by Jim Broadbent

but I have to say those perfume adds with scantly dressed ladies may be worth looking at I told the wife those  bottles perfume are a bit costly for a hard up pensioner like me I'm sure you would prefer a nice box of chocolates from Aldi  I had my  answer to that but its not repeatable on this site

Favourite so far this year is M&S clothing aka Jumper Round.
Not fond of the music genre but the ad makes me smile !

I like the Aldi ones with Kevin the carrot especially the one where a sprouts fired out of a canon  into the roof of a tent and Kevin says that one'll be hanging about till Christmas   jezza

MB, I saw that one of the little boy and it was brilliant! Just goes to show you don't have to spend lots of silly money.
