Lots of things I should have done, like strip the bed, do some housework, try to find some tradesmen ! etc etc
But I actually went to a Probus Coffee Morning at a nearby garden Centre. The choice was Bread Pudding or a scone with cream and jam, and tea or coffee. I had requested the scone, which was quite big. Driving home, I thought a nice long walk along the prom in the sunshine would be nice now. So I got home, changed trousers and shoes, abandoned all thoughts of jobs, ran down the road and got the bus into town. Walked along the prom, quite swiftly, swinging my arms as you do, for 1 hour. Just in time to get the bus home. It was very cold, but good. Neep tides were fully out, and it all looked very calm. Done a few chores now, and will strip the sheets tomorrow. So I am feeling good
