had another inch of snow last night. the wind was very keen and a lot of drifting and blowing snow.
the track we had cleared blown in. probably worse tomorrow after a hard frost tonight.
hope it will be rain not snow tomorrow night.

We have ended up with around 7" of accumulated snow (or at least that's what's on the shed roof) since Friday. Still no sign of any gritters yet, but I've not been able to get out of the road at ML's since Sunday Morning so they may have done the main roads.
If you were Les Dawson that would be a fate worse than death - snowed in with the Mother in Law :)

Haha but in Lardmans case ML refers to mother Lard 😉😂

Just popped round to our sons through the park & it’s decidedly crisp to say the least here, no more snow since yesterday but we had enough with the 5” we had

No more overnight, but it was COLDDDDD......  So yesterday's thaw has made for a lot of black ice today.  Lovely blue skies though, a complete photographer's dream.  Schools still closed ... parent's nightmare.  The brewery drays are getting out though, that is the main thing!   :D  Otherwise some of the pubs could have been looking at Christmas short on beer ....

No I wasn’t but we got anothe4 sprinkle that DIL said made the road treacherous this morning when she brought our little granddaughter round, so slippy that she left her car at the end of our Close rather than try to negotiate the not so big hill

No further snow here since Sunday, but the plot is still a good 6 or 7 inches deep. I scraped away as much snow as I could from around the broad beans, but they're looking pretty sickly at the moment  :(
